GVC Holdings PLC is the successor company to Gaming VC Holdings S.A.
Gaming VC Holdings S.A. was incorporated in Luxembourg, and admitted to AIM on 21 December 2004. Its share listing on AIM was cancelled on 21 May 2010
GVC Holdings PLC was incorporated in the Isle of Man on 5 January 2010, and under a shareholder approved process, acquired all the assets and liabilities of Gaming VC Holdings S.A. on 21 May 2010 and its shares were admitted to trading on AIM on 24 May 2010. The group is engaged in online sports betting and gaming. Its primary licence has been granted by the Lotteries & Gaming Authority of Malta, a full member of the EU.
The group’s principal brands are:
| CasinoClub | an online casino focused on German speaking markets. This business has been operational since 2001 |
| Betaland | online sportsbook, casino and poker focused on customers in Italy which sources its customers largely through affiliate relationships. This business has been operational since Autumn of 2007 |
| Betboo | online bingo, casino, poker and sports betting targeting customers in Latin America, principally Brazil. The business was acquired by GVC in July 2009. |
The group has two office hubs: Malta with a headcount of around 35 staff; and Tel Aviv, with a headcount of around 32 staff. The group runs a lean central function comprising the two executive directors and two support staff.
